<>The joining of hands betwixt the Slave holders and the Theologians in the
<>time of slavery who thought by using the scriptures to fulfill their evil
<>deeds upon the slaves in not  fulfilling their promises whether it be wages,
<>or the unfulfilled promise of 40 acres and a mule will not go unpunished. For
<> the New Jerusalem, the Holy  City of God is not the church for anyone
<>country , nor of this age only but for all believers of Christ in creation from
<> Abel who was murdered by his brother, to the last believer on the day of
<>Jesus’ appearing and to the day of his Kingdom. I remember that fateful day
<> of September 11, when those two planes flew into the Twin towers, and as I
<>stood there in amazement, staring at this indescribable spectacle before me,
<> that suddenly the recollection was, how ironic it may have been that just
<>maybe, the Spirits of  some thousands of my ancestors who were hurriedly
<>buried not too far from this place may have been the same Sprits that
<>ushered these souls into a new dimension. One never knows! What I do
<>know is; It is time for our ancestors’ descendants of this  generation and
<>the ones to come, start the healing process, to rise up beyond this dire of self
<>pity of what was done to us, and for those  also in the body of Christ to  start
<>reaching out and  minister to the slaves of this era; slaves in Sudan, black
<>slaves who are being castrated, women like the old days of slavery witnessed
<>in this hemisphere being raped, children being ripped apart from their
<>families. This is not 1712, this is happening NOW 2008 and we descendants
<>of Slaves, and servants in the body of our Lord must now reach out and take
<>a stand! There are over some 20 million slaves beginning from the age of 4,
<> tiny babies chained in India who are crying out for Jesus; today we so-
<>called deprived people who drive SUVs with cell phones stuck to our ears,
<> dancing to senseless erotic rap hip-hop music, glued to our big screen TV
<>sets watching  reality TV or pornography, some visiting our mega churches
<> to see and be entertained by Preachers who tickle the ears with prosperity
<>messages and psychological babble, while our black Christian brothers and
<> sisters now slaves in a remote part of this world are being ostracized for
<> faith in the very Christ we profess to serve, and who died for us to be free.
<> The Lord said, that if one part of the body hurt, we should hurt also and if
<>one of these slaves were to be set free to rejoice, we also should also be
<>rejoicing. We as descendants can and will only be healed as a people, when
<>we address such a travesty from the very ashes which we have also risen.
<>Sure we have not yet  apprehended, but we must come to the place
<>where we also leave those things behind and collectively reach forward
<>towards our holy calling.
